Gymnastics
Gymnastics may be globally defined as any physical exercise on the floor or apparatus that is designed to promote endurance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and body control. IBES students are working together to create a gymnastic routine consisting of individual balances on points or patches, partner balances, and rolling movements.
The 2nd through 5th grade students are working hard to prepare their gymnastic routines! The students show a variety of body, space, effort, and relationships through individual and partner balances with smooth transitions while traveling across the mat.
